Local business websites that rank

Local sites built to be found, then called.

For trades and local service businesses: a fast Next.js site with a page for each service and each town you cover, structured data that tells Google what kind of business you are, and a call or quote button on every page. We score your SEO before we start and set up Google Analytics, Search Console and IndexNow on launch, so the difference is on record.

What clients arrive with

  • Our work comes from word of mouth. Google sends us almost nothing.
  • The site is one page on a website builder with a contact form nobody fills in.
  • We cover ten towns but only show up for the one we are based in.
  • We paid for SEO and cannot tell what it did.
  • Customers find us on Facebook or a directory, not on our own site.

What you get

SEO baseline before any design
Your current site scored out of 100 across on-page, local, technical, content and trust, so the result after launch has something honest to compare against.
A page for every service and every town
A keyword map turned into real pages with useful content, not doorway copies. Benjamin Bailey Electrics has 8 service pages and 10 area pages; A.Shrubb launched with 40 indexable URLs.
Structured data that names your trade
JSON-LD using the most specific LocalBusiness type that fits, such as GeneralContractor for A.Shrubb, with your name, address, phone number and service areas consistent everywhere they appear.
A conversion path on every page
Tap-to-call and a quote button in the header and in every hero, a short validated quote form with a clear success state, and trust signals you can actually evidence.
Your real photography, prepared properly
Project photos resized, converted and given descriptive file names and alt text, because real work sells a trade better than stock images.
Analytics onboarding in one pass
One script creates the GA4 property, verifies Search Console, submits the sitemap, writes the IndexNow key and submits every URL. A consent banner defaults to denied.
Enquiries counted, not just visits
Calls, taps and quote requests tracked as named events, and each delivered enquiry reported server-side with its landing page, so rankings are judged against enquiries.

How the work runs

  1. Baseline and harvest

We audit and score the current site, collect your logo and project photos, and map every service against every town you want work from.

  2. Write the brief

A short brief, product note and design note: who calls, what they search for, the one action we want, and the pages that deliver it.

  3. Build and critique

Next.js build, scored against the same SEO rubric as the baseline and our own structured design review, then fixed until both are where they should be.

  4. Launch and onboard

Deploy, run the onboarding script, confirm indexing, and add the site to monthly monitoring if you want it.

How engagements start

  • Fixed-scope build: baseline, brief, design, build, launch and analytics onboarding as one package.
  • Concept first where it helps: we have built complete sites to show a business before it commits.
  • Optional monthly monitoring afterwards, with one change at a time judged on enquiries.

The work behind it

Questions, answered

Something else on your mind? hello@swiftideas.com

How soon will we see results in Google?

Pages are usually crawled within days of the sitemap and IndexNow submissions. Rankings take weeks to months and depend on your competition, so we report on what we measured rather than promise a date.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No. Nobody can honestly guarantee a position in Google. We guarantee the work: the pages, the schema, the speed and the measurement, and we show you the before and after scores.

Do we need to supply photos?

Real photos of your work help more than anything else we can add. We will take whatever you have, from a phone or a professional, and prepare it for the web.

Who owns the site and the domain?

You do. The domain, the hosting account, the analytics properties and the code are yours, and they stay yours if we stop working together.

Will moving from our current site lose what already ranks?

Not if it is planned. We list every existing URL, keep or redirect each one, and resubmit everything to Google and Bing on launch day.

What do you actually measure?

Phone taps, calls and quote requests as named events, alongside Search Console impressions and clicks per page. A page that climbs in Google but brings no enquiries is not counted as a win.

Bring the idea. We’ll build all of it.
