    Hi,

Pls help – I’m using Yoast (latest version) on my site, and no matter what I do or change on my pages, I always get the following Yoast Warning:

“The keyword doesn’t appear in the first paragraph”

I have tried adding my keywords in the first paragraph in multiple ways, but when using Swift Page Builder i get this error.

I have tried making the same setup on a website i have with visual composer as page builder in stead, and on this website I don’t get the warning, so it seems to me that Swift Page Builder can’t seem to “show the first paragraph” or whatever the issue is. Pls help, cause I can’t SEO optimize my site properly.

    Hi,

A couple issues that I saw on your homepage.
You shouldn’t have empty rows in your content. Delete those 2 rows since they don’t have any content.

You focus keyword is flightcases but that word never appears in the text. That is different from flight cases.
The issue seems to be relate to the text content and not the page builder itself.

Probably Yoast will consider this the 1st paragraph.

This got to be related to your text content. Yoast is grabbing the text from the page builder assets since it counted 140 words so nothing is wrong with the theme and we don’t have any other recent topics about it.

Try to place the same text content in the classic editor without using the page builder to see what the Yoast analysis will say.

I’m seeing the same error on your test page.

    can you check again?

We don’t do any special code for Yoast, Yoast automatically reads the content of the page builder so we don’t interfere in their process. And we have plenty of customers that use Yoast without any issue,

yes, I was editing the same page, you can see in my screenshot the page id in the url.
I checked this situation on the web and it seems that the warning sometimes it’s not real because Yoast can’t identify the focus keyword in their analysis.

In case of doubt you should also contact their support to see what they have to say.
