Hi, as You can see in the attached file, I have a problem with unwanted padding under the picture in the showcase. The picture file, png format, is 1680 x 805 px.

How can this padding be removed?

    All the best! 🙂

    Hi and Thank’s!

The site (under construction) is …
    http://wp.109media.se

Look at the first ”slide” in the top showcase (the compiled color pictures) and You see the narrow padding over, and the broad padding under, the picture.
By tampering with the code (”frame” and ”pappding”) in the media center for the two other compiled pictures (the B/W), I succeeded to take the padding away.
*** Does one have to fix with the code manually to get the tight, nice look without white stripes/padding? Doesn’t it work automatically ..?

    While talking:
*** is it possible to change the aspect ratio in the portfolio function (to show the whole landscape orientated pix?
*** And, can the pictures be vertically centered in the portfolio frame instead of aligned from the top?

And one more thing … 🙂
In the top menu, I have five items, beginning with ”Start” and ending with ”Kontakt”.
The function of the items is ok, but the coloring of them only works 80 percent.
*** With the site freshly loaded and ”Start” in the red colour, I click the black ”Kontakt”, which turns in to the red. When then clicking ”Start” again (now black), the page scrolls up to the top, but instead of getting the red ”Start”, I get a red neighbor: ”Det har gor jag”.
Why? Can it be fixed and work as it does on the sites of others?

Thank’S in advance for Your help! 🙂
    /JohanL

    Hi,

Glad you overcome the padding features. The other two questions, I didn’t have a clue, I will forward this to the developer to look over.

    Thanks,
    laranz.

    Laranz,

    Thank’s for the respons.
About the padding, even though I overcame it, is there a problem that I found and that can be solved, or is it me doing something wrong? How does the theme work for you when you ad a pic’ in the Showcase? Do you get the padding to?

Hope the developer can give some clues on the other two questions. 🙂

    All the best,
    /JohanL

The padding issue may have been because of the WP Admin Bar. How did you fix it?

The other 2 questions aren’t possible as standard.

The title on your home link should be “home” not “Home”.

//The padding issue may have been because of the WP Admin Bar. How did you fix it?//
*** I set the three padding options to zero – ”0” – in the picture admin panel (after the pic is mounted at the page.
    — How do You build/create the showcases to not get the white padding?
Is there another way to create the Showcase than the one I use ..?

    //The other 2 questions aren’t possible as standard.//
*** That’s sad … Since the theme’s so slick and nice, it’s strange that the portfolio part looks so amateuristic. 🙁

//The title on your home link should be “home” not “Home”.//
    *** Wonderful – thank’s. Works perfectly. 🙂

That is the correct way to do it.

    Glad you’re sorted!

I’m running into the same issue with my showcase image. I saw the fix listed in this thread
*** I set the three padding options to zero – ”0” – in the picture admin panel (after the pic is mounted at the page.
However, I’m not exactly sure where to make this change. Could you point me in the right direction?
    Thanks.

    Rui’s message:

    Hi,

Is the gray space around the images in the screenshot below?

    Hi Kyle,

No, the unwanted space is not around those images. It is actually along the bottom of the image on the home page, which I’ve attached to this message.

    Thanks,
    Mike
