    None of my customizations are responding. I can’t detect the extra class in the inspector….

    I’m experiencing the same issue. I have added an extra class to an image on my page called top-pad. I added .top-pad {padding-top: 25px;} in Theme Options > Custom CSS/JS. When I inspect the image in a web browser it hasn’t adopted the extra class. Does this need to be enabled somewhere?
