I’ve been trying to translate certain strings. The first time I tried it worked, because it wasn’t all translated. But since it’s now 100% translated according to Poedit, I want to change: “Filters” “Return to cart” “Choose a Color” “Choose a size” “View all products” “Select options (to choose the item on the store)”, “There are no reviews yet”.
I also changed one to “Solo clientes que hayan iniciado sesión podrán dejar su califición. ación.” On which I have a typo and would like to change it back. Is there a way I’m missing on Poedit, if you can help me with this maybe I can do it myself. The problem is when I use the FIND function it won’t take me to the string I’m looking for. Thanks.
June 29, 2017 at 9:47 am #330486Hi,
Can I clalrify the question:
1) Are you changing the desired strings in PoEdit, but these are not reflected on the site?
OR
2) Are you unable to find the strings you want to change in the
.po
file?July 6, 2017 at 12:08 am #3310922) I am unable to find the strings I want to change in the .po file.
July 6, 2017 at 1:37 pm #331126Hi,
I have gone through our
Uplift.pot
file to double check the strings are there, which they are. It suggests you may have a dated.po
file. Please download the latestUplift.pot
file, use that to translate the strings and generate a new.po
/.mo
file.#: swift-framework/core/sf-woocommerce.php:879 msgid "Filters" msgstr "" #: swift-framework/core/sf-page-heading.php:216 msgid "Return to cart" msgstr "" #: woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/variable.php:34 #, php-format msgid "Choose a %s" msgstr "" #: woocommerce/loop/add-to-cart.php:42 msgid "Select options" msgstr "" #: woocommerce/single-product-reviews.php:49 msgid "There are no reviews yet." msgstr ""
View all products – this is located in the Swift Framework plugin

file.July 9, 2017 at 11:45 pm #331196Great, I found the .pot file. I used it to translate thru Poedit, but now after pasting it through FTP manager is not working. I mean all the words are back to english.
July 10, 2017 at 7:13 pm #331233Hi,
What file name did you save your .po and .mo files as?

es_ES.moJuly 11, 2017 at 9:48 am #331243Hi,
Can you provide a Dropbox link to the .po file for me to check over? What strings are now in English?

Looks like your files were very outdated. Whenever the theme is updated, you need to make sure to update your language files using the included .pot file. I’ve updated them for you here – http://swiftideas.d.pr/Mz24F0
If any aren’t present in that file, then they will be part of the WooCommerce translation file.
Hope that helps.
